2008 FIRST
ROUND TRAVEL GRANTS AWARDED.
Kim Jose
is the recipient of the Menzies Research Institute
travel grant and will attend the "Population
Health Congress 2008" in Brisbane. Sue
Frendin , recipient
of the UDRH travel grant will attend "Heart and
Mind – Psychogenic Cardiovascular Disease Conference"
in Prato, Italy.
2008 SECOND ROUND TRAVEL
GRANTS AWARDED
Helen Cameron -Tucker, the recipient
of the Menzies Research Institute travel grant will
present findings from her PhD research at the International
Congress on Disease Self Management in Melbourne,
November 2008. Ree Van Galen, recipient
of the UDRH travel grant, will present a paper titled
“Rural Community Based Nurses: Moving towards
a primary health care role and Identity “at
the Australian Rural Nurses and Midwives 14th National
Conference in Adelaide, November 2008.
