Dr. Roscoe Taylor
Director, Public Health
Department of Health & Human Services
Dr Roscoe Taylor is a specialist in public health medicine and holds the statutory position of Director of Public Health as well as being Director, Population Health in the Tasmanian Department of Health & Human Services. Prior to this he has worked in public health in Queensland and Victoria , and in General Practice in New Zealand and Victoria . His work has increasingly emphasised chronic disease prevention, driven by the recognition that so many of the immediate and medium term health threats facing our population relate strongly to systemic socio-economic factors.
